Change string case
The Change string case robot changes the letter case of a text in Bitrix24 (Alaio) business processes and robots: it makes all letters upper or lower case, capitalises each word, or keeps only the first letter of the string capitalised. Latin, Cyrillic and other alphabets are handled the same way. It returns the converted string.
The robot brings text to one consistent form: data from web forms, imports and manual entry arrives in all caps one day and in lower case the next, and it looks careless in documents and e-mails. The input is a string and a mode: UPPER CASE, lower case, Capitalise Each Word, or Sentence case — the first letter of the string upper case and the rest lower case. It works with any alphabet, including accented letters, and double-barrelled names joined by a hyphen get a capital letter in each part. Typical use cases: turn a client name into "John Smith" before saving it to the card; lower-case an e-mail before a duplicate search; write a contract number or a licence plate in capitals. It returns the result — put it into a field or into the text of the next action.

What errors can the robot return?
The robot writes these messages to the business process log when it cannot complete a step. The text tells you what to fix in the settings or the data.
- Unknown case mode, the string is returned unchanged
Scenario: a tidy name from a web form
- A client filled in the form as "jOHN sMITH"
- The robot in Capitalise Each Word mode returns "John Smith"
- The corrected name is saved to the contact and used in the e-mail
