Comment files to a field
The Comment files to a field robot collects the files attached to timeline comments of a deal, lead, contact, company or smart process in Bitrix24 (Alaio) and writes them into a File field of the same item. Modes: add to the files in the field or replace them. Returns the number of copied files, a success flag and an error message.
Managers attach scans, contracts and photos to timeline comments, while documents, approvals and exports need the files in a field of the card. The robot copies the attachments of all comments of the current CRM item into the chosen File field (code UF_CRM_…). In Add mode the files already in the field are kept; in Replace mode the field receives only the comment files. You can limit it to comments from the last N days. One run copies up to the 20 newest files with a total size of up to 25 MB; skipped files are listed in the log. If the field is not multiple, the newest file is written. Works in deals, leads, contacts, companies and smart processes.

What errors can the robot return?
The robot writes these messages to the business process log when it cannot complete a step. The text tells you what to fix in the settings or the data.

Scenario: gather client documents in the deal card
- A manager attaches an ID scan and a contract to deal comments
- The deal moves to the Document check stage and triggers the robot
- The robot copies the comment files into the Documents field
- The lawyer opens the field and sees all files in one place
