Notify employees

The Notify employees robot sends a system notification to one or more employees in Bitrix24 (Alaio) business processes and robots. The notification arrives in the bell on behalf of the application, not of a specific person. It takes a list of recipients and a text with BB codes. It returns a Success Y/N flag and the number of notifications sent.

The robot sends a notification to the bell of the selected employees. Unlike a chat message, a system notification opens no dialog and does not look like a message from a colleague: it comes from the application, so it fits service reminders. The input is the recipients — one or more employees, including the responsible person from the card — and the notification text; BB codes such as bold text and links are supported. Departments and groups in the Recipients field are skipped: pick specific people. Typical use cases: alert a manager about a large deal; remind the responsible person about an overdue task; tell accounting that an invoice is paid. It returns Success = Y when every recipient got the notification, and the number of notifications sent — it shows a partial delivery.

The robot writes these messages to the business process log when it cannot complete a step. The text tells you what to fix in the settings or the data.

• Error: no employee selected (departments and groups are not supported)
• Error: the notification text is empty
• Error: the notification reached {sent} of {total} employees

Scenario: a large deal under the manager's eye

1. A deal worth more than a million moves to the Approval stage
2. The robot sends the head of department a notification with a link to the deal
3. The manager sees it in the bell and opens the card right away
